The HSM 400U is a vertical 5-axis high-speed machining center of portal design. The HSM 400U allows high-precision 5-axis simultaneous machining in high-speed mode for tool and mould making, for the production of electrodes or also for the production of precision in small to medium batch sizes. However, thanks to its rigid structure and its motor spindles also suitable for roughing work as well as finest finishing using ?.5 ~ 16mm cutters. The highlight of this machine is the high-speed swivel table with direct drive. The optional pallet changer actuated directly by the machine control system (iTNC) offers the possibility of unmanned operation. Massive machine base made of polymer concrete of portal design in order to effectively absorb the high machining and acceleration forces. * Prestressed recirculating ball screws and roller ball tracks for highest precision. * Pallet clamping chucks 3R Dynafix or Erowa UPC integrated into the circular swivel table. * Completely enclosed machine in order to eliminate all emissions. * Circular front door with large window. * Central tool changer(pick-up) * Chip disposal integrated into the machine bed(option) * Minimum quantity oil-lubricated and liquid-cooled motor spindle with vector control. * Optional pallet changer for 3R Dynafix or also Erowa UPC pallets with 7 positions.
